The JMSA School Parent Permission Google form covers signatures for Acceptable Use Policy, Google Suite, Schoology, Media Consent, Conferencing tools, District approved Apps and Websites for parents to digitally sign. Please click here to fill out the Parent Permission Form for each child who attends José Martí STEM Academy as soon as possible.
Morning Arrival:
Students are expected to be on Campus by 7:55am.
All students enter via the Main Entrance Plaza.
9th Graders enter the building using the Main Entrance Doors Left.
10th Graders enter the building using the doors left of the Flagpole (near Gym).
11th Graders enter the building using the doors right of the Flagpole (near Library).
12th Graders enter the building using the Main Entrance Doors Right.
Everyone will have a Temperature Check overseen by staff or security.
Students arriving prior to 8:50am will be directed to our open-air Courtyard for breakfast.
Students arriving after 8:50am will be directed to their Home Room.
Any student with a temperature above an acceptable level will be directed to our Medical Office.
Afternoon Dismissal:
Last class of the day ends at 2:40pm with Teacher Office time available until 2:55pm.
Students may exit the building using;
-the Main Entrance Plaza,
-the Field exit Doors (preferably for those students who live north of 20th Street)
-or the 18th Street exit (preferably for those students who live south of 18th Street).
Parents who are picking up their child should set a designated meeting area with their son or daughter.
Please join José Martí STEM Academy for its annual 8th-Grade Open House on Wednesday, November 17, at 6:00 p.m.
*Pre-registration is required, and the event is capped at a maximum attendance of 250. Registration closes Monday, November 15.

Please be advised that representatives of the federal government agency FEMA will be assisting homeowners whose properties were damaged by Hurricane Ida this early September. As you may know Hudson County was declared a disaster zone, this makes it possible for homeowners to apply for financial assistance from FEMA if their properties were damaged by this natural disaster. FEMA representatives will be at the Union City High School on the following dates:
Thursday, September 30 & Friday, October 1st, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
