Union City Board of Education Welcomes Parents and Guardians to Back to School Night

This past week, the Union City Board of Education school's opened their doors, to welcome parents/guardians who visited their children's classrooms and to meet their teachers, the staff, and administrators.

Superintendent, Mrs. Silvia Abbato, proudly visited each school and was on hand to share good things that will be happening this academic year.

Parents were treated to goodies from companies such as T-Mobile, that donated free Backpacks to the students at Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Cafe El Dorado, Palisades Family, and the Union City Education Association.

Each School also hosted it's annual Scholastic Book Fair to help start the new school year for families to read together.
