Ana Valle-Saavedra District Supervisor of Bilingual, ESL and World Language Academic Programs issued this statement:
"I would like to take the opportunity to thank the following leaders of our educational community: To Ms. Silvia Abbato, Union City Superintendent of Schools for all her support since the beginning of this project. To Ms. Mirtha Serret, District Supervisor of Fine Arts for helping me put this program that was just a dream into action. To Mr. Ryan Lewis, Union City High School Principal and Mr. Rudy Baez, Jose Marti STEM Academy Principal. To my dear colleague Ms. Luisa Mendez, former supervisor of the World Language Department, who thanks to her we are carrying out initiative for the past 4 years. To Mr. Luis Calvo, Union City High School Assistant Principal. To the leaders in the Bilingual Department, Mrs. Alejandra Venegas and Mrs. Sabrin Miqbel. To all the inspirational teachers in the World Language Department, to the parents who always gave us their support and trust, but above all to the students who had demonstrated linguistic abilities through examinations, grades, and coursework with great commitment and achieved it. Congratulations to the Class of 2022. The sky's the limit."

“Quiero aprovechar la oportunidad para agradecer a los siguientes líderes de nuestra comunidad educativa: A la Señora Silvia Abbato, Superintendente de Escuelas de Union City por todo su apoyo desde el inicio de este proyecto. A la Señora Mirtha Serret, Supervisora del Distrito de Fine Arts por ayudarme a poner en práctica este programa que era solo un sueño. Al Señor Ryan Lewis, director de Union City High School y al Señor Rudy Baez, director de la Academia Jose Marti STEM. A mi querida colega, la Señora Luisa Méndez, ex supervisora de al Departamento de Idiomas del Mundo, quienes gracias a ella llevamos adelante esta iniciativa desde hace 4 años Al Señor Luis Calvo, Subdirector de Union City High School A los líderes del Departamento Bilingüe Señora Alejandra Venegas y Señora Sabrin Miqbel A todos los maestros inspiradores del Departamento de Idiomas del Mundo, a los padres que siempre nos brindaron su apoyo y confianza, pero sobre todo a los estudiantes que demostraron habilidades lingüísticas a través de exámenes, calificaciones y cursos. Se trabajó con mucho empeño y lo logró. Felicitaciones a la Clase de 2022. El cielo es el límite".
