On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Ayane Hiwatari won a Gold Medal in the category of Health and Medicine at the 70th New Jersey Academy of Science Research Competition that took place at Kean University. An excellent job by this incredible young woman.

Our CTE students’ innovative clean energy action plan at the José Martí STEM Academy were selected as 1 of just 10 winners nationwide. We are incredibly proud of our students’ hard work, creativity, and commitment to sustainability. This recognition highlights the valuable role of CTE in preparing students for careers in the growing clean energy sector.
