Principal Rudy R. Baez of the José Martí STEM Academy is proud to announce that NEHS (National English Honor Society) Advisor and Teacher Laura Barbieri, along with students Raymiluz Soriano and Karen Jiménez, have been awarded the prestigious NEHS Convention Presentation Award.

Please be advised that in commemoration with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Union City Board of Education, the Office of Community Relations in conjunction with Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners along with County Commissioner Fanny Cedeno will be hosting the event "Let's Tie One More Ribbon for Breast Cancer" on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the José Martí STEM Academy.
