Mr. Lopez

Mr. Lopez graduated from NJCU with a BA in political science and minors in philosophy and law. He then went on to law school at Seton Hall Law where he obtained his JD. He then went on to work in the legal field. He also worked for a while on Wall St where he obtained his Series 7 stockbroker license and got personal insight on how our economy works. His life experiences prepared him well for the work he would ultimately feel a true calling for--working as a high school social studies teacher. 2021 marks his 8th year as a full-time teacher, and his 13th year total working in the field of education.

He is currently responsible for teaching World History, US History 1, and Constitutional Law. His teaching responsibilities give him exposure to a wide cross section of the students at the high school. He greatly enjoys the classroom teaching experience and having daily interaction with the students both in class and also in the hallways or at lunch duty.

Mr. Lopez sincerely believes that guiding young minds to becoming informed citizens and responsible, ethical persons is one of the most sacred responsibilities our society can ever bestow upon someone. He always strives to be found worthy of the title of teacher.
